By using Gourmang, you agree to these terms.
2. Who can use Gourmang
You must be 18 or older. Gourmang’s targets are built for adults, and the app will not create a plan for anyone younger.
3. Not medical advice
The targets, food log and quality scores are general nutrition information based on published science. They are not personalised medical advice and do not replace a healthcare professional. Speak to one before making significant dietary changes, particularly if you have a medical condition, take medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have a history of disordered eating.
4. Accuracy
Food data comes from public and community databases, nutrition tables, contributions from other users, and AI analysis of your text and photos. Any of it can be incomplete, outdated or wrong; anything the AI estimated is labelled as an estimate. Check entries before relying on them, especially where accuracy matters for allergies, medication or medical care.
5. What you submit
You are responsible for the meal descriptions, photos, custom foods and corrections you submit, and must have the right to share them. Submitting a contribution to the shared food database gives us permission to publish it there and keep it after you delete your account, without naming you as its author. We may review, edit, reject or remove any submission.
6. Your account
You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email, so keeping that email account secure keeps your Gourmang account secure. You can end your agreement with us at any time by deleting your account in the app’s settings.
7. Changes to the service
We may update, suspend or discontinue parts of Gourmang, including features, data sources, calculations and scoring methods. We may restrict access or remove content where needed to operate the service, enforce these terms, or protect users.
8. Subscriptions
Gourmang is free to use. Some features are offered through an optional paid subscription.
Subscriptions are sold and billed by the app store you bought them from, not by us. They renew automatically for the same period until you cancel, and the store charges you at the start of each period. We never see or hold your payment details.
Cancel at any time in your app store account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. Deleting your Gourmang account does not cancel your subscription — you must cancel it in the store as well, or billing continues.
Refunds are handled by the app store under its own policy, not by us. You will be told before any price change takes effect, and you can cancel before it does. A change applies from your next renewal, never to a period you have already paid for.
Because the store is the seller, any statutory cancellation or withdrawal right you have as a consumer applies to your contract with the store and is exercised there, under its terms.
9. Language
These terms and our Privacy Policy are published in English and in French. The two language versions are intended to say the same thing. Where they differ, the English version governs.
